Almasur Punta Arenas Hotel, Punta Arenas

Staying at the hotel was quite a mixed experience. The rooms, although average and suitable for a quick stay, lacked charm and were not particularly noteworthy. Despite being located near the city center and offering convenient access to various amenities, the overall value for money was questionable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, reminiscent of a similar experience I had at Cabo de Hornos. The service was friendly and helpful, pointing out great spots to explore. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance to the water and many restaurants. The dining experience was highly sufficient, and the facilities were top-notch.

The hotel offers rather small but adequate rooms at the back of the hotel at half the price compared to booking via Booking. com. The service is forgettable with only two memorable dishes but friendly and kind staff who even picked us up in the middle of the night when we arrived from Santiago. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the main street in a quiet neighborhood with great dining options nearby. The dining experience, while good and plentiful, is considered under standard, but the white rice is a plus.
